How To Deal With Scratches On The Surface Of Acrylic Sheet

The surface of the acrylic sheet is transparent and smooth. Once there are scratches, the appearance will be greatly reduced. In order to prolong the service life, we need to master some daily maintenance methods.

Acrylic surface scratch treatment:

General scratches: Small scratches can be wiped with suede dipped in toothpaste and wiped several times to recover.

Deeper scratches: You can use water sandpaper (the thinnest), add water to smooth the scratches and the surrounding area, rinse them with water, and then wipe them with suede and toothpaste. If scratches are still visible, it means sandpaper polishing. The depth is not enough, you need to do it again.

Notice:

The surface will be atomized after water sandpaper grinding, and the brightness can be restored after wiping with toothpaste;

The degree of sanding with water sandpaper should be determined according to the depth of the scratch;

You can use an electric car waxer to polish with toothpaste, which will be faster.
