Abrasion Resistant Acrylic Sheets are stronger than glass but weighs half as much as glass, it is a continuously manufactured acrylic sheet which was covered with clear abrasion resistant coating on one (AR1) or both (AR2) sides, gives it high impact strength with abrasion and chemical resistant with non-glare properties for easy viewing, offering 40 times greater resistance to marring and chemical attack than uncoated acrylic sheet. At the same time it offers outstanding optical performance.

Can be saw cut, laser cut, drilled, routed, and milled, easily clean with household cleaners.

Applications

Abrasion resistant acrylic sheet is useful for numerous applications, it is the preferred material for LCD's, PDA's, projection television screens and multimedia displays. Perfect for retail displays, tabletops, door panels, window replacements, signage, LCD screens, framing and other applications that are exposed to high traffic.

Notes: Abrasion Resistant Acrylic Sheets are not recommended for heat bending, as it may damage the coating cover. Also, it can’t be glued with acrylic cement because the coating is chemically resistant. Glue only on uncoated sides or edges.
